The Fairview Hockey Club is a USA Hockey High School program fielding two teams for the 07 – 08 season. Each team will play approximately 30 games. The teams compete in the Lake Shore Hockey League, play 10 to 15 independent games and participate in three tournaments a year.

Varsity Team                    9th - 12th grade students
Junior Varsity Team     8th - 11th grade students

Although Fairview high school students are given priority selection, students from any area school district are eligible to play for the club. Each team will dress a maximum of 16 players and 2 goalies. This allows players to receive sufficient ice time.


Program Update

Practice - Weekly practice times and most home games will be played at JMC and Mercyhurst for the 2007 - 2008 season.

Fees - Annual players fee is $750

Freshman Team – Fairview elected to suspend the 7th – 9th grade team this season.  The club felt kids should continue to play in Bantam youth hockey programs. Please call Matt Glass (814) 454-0158 for more information on this topic.

Goalies - Equipment reimbursements for goalies playing out are in affect this season. Goalies can be reimbursed as much as $400 for purchased equipment.
